The Magam Ruhunupura International Convention Centre (MRICC) is the second international convention centre in Sri Lanka with both conference and banquet facilities. The complex is situated on the highest point in the area at Siribopura, Hambantota, and supports the events and entertainment industry of the country. The project was jointly funded by Korean and Sri Lankan credit facilities.
All halls are equipped with their own separate sound systems, multimedia screens and projectors.
The Main Auditorium is on par with international standards and is an ideal location to host international conferences and conventions, as well as prestigious local events.
The sound system consists of three line arrays powered by JBL, and the stage lighting uses modern Barbizon (USA) equipment.
A conference hall with modern amenities that can be used as a single hall or as three separate sub-halls created with movable partitions. The sound system is powered by JBL, and multimedia facilities are available.
Equipped with an international-standard hot kitchen and a bakery section, the restaurant provides a premium experience for local and international banquet events and receptions.
The Basement Committee Room can be used as a single hall seating 350, or as two smaller halls each seating 150.
